Our previous site at http://www.nusanimeclub.com met with several database crashing incidents and unhelpful webhost disappearance events. We have presently changed our webhost to Dreamhost, which isn’t exactly the best webhost out there according to some, but it should more than suffice for the club site. For now.
In the meantime, the forums are once again back online BUT all users have been wiped clean due to the previous database failure. It is also partially my fault for not having backed up the databases. I will make sure to do so from now on as a weekly habit. As usual, the user databases for the forums and the site are the same one so if you register on the forums, you’re registered for the club site, not that it makes much of a difference. You get to comment under your forum nick! I should probably add some avatar feature then. For now, I shall try to re-populate the site with articles. I welcome member contributions too.
By the way, I haven’t received any club mascot entries yet. This is very sad.
