Singapore Film Society with the generous support of the Media Development Authority of Singapore, is proud to present Animation Nation 2008!
This year, the festival is scheduled from 24th October to 2nd November, with screenings at Fushionopolis, National Museum of Singapore, Alliance Francaise de Singapour, and library@esplanade, and will feature more than 50 films, both features and shorts, from more than 10 countries. Animation Nation 2008 will also be part of the event lineup for the new Fushionopolis.
Programmes include “The Piano Forest” (PG), a Japanese Animated Feature Film by director Makoto Isshiki and the production company Madhouse (responsible for such animations as Allison and Lillia & Last Order Final Fantasy VII. They also Contributed to Hayao Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle.) as well as a showcase of films from Aardman Animation Studios.
Many big names in international animation industries will be coming to singapore for discussions and seminars!
