Details

For Art Segment:

- Submissions must be in A4, Full Color, 300dpi, RGB.
- The focus is Anitan. The artist is free to develop her image but the theme is “A mascot character for NUSCAS”
- She must have her trademark wing hair clip, pink hairstyle and blue eyes. Refer to the club website’s banner for a clear reference, or this.
- She can have ANY personality (The bg story segment is supposed to cover this part)
- Participants are required to hand in two A4 submissions, one sketched and the other in full colour. The sketched submission must include a front and back design. A character pose has to be included in full colour. For the sketch, it is recommended that the artist divide a piece of A4 paper vertically into 2 for the design.

For Story Segment:
- Submissions must be in doc or docx, 700 words or less, Times New Roman font size 12. No need to double space.
- The focus is on Anitan, the author is free to develop her character but NUSCAS and NUS must play a central role. She is also “A mascot character for NUSCAS”
- The author is required to flesh out her personality during the write up. It will be a strong factor for our judging decision.
- A good starting point for ideas is this thread.

Judging Criterias
For Art Segment:
- General Artwork Quality 20%
- Design and Coloring features 30%
- Creativity 40%
- Reproducibility 10%

For Storyline Segment:
- Language and Grammar 30%
- Creativity 50%
- Flexibility for future development (Open endedness) 20%

Prizes

For Art Segment:
Top Prize: $10 Kinokuniya voucher + Mystery Manga + Comic Drawing Book
2nd Prize: $5 KKNM voucher + Animax Cap + Animax Wristband + Animax T-shirt (Let the winner choose the size)
Consolation Prize: Animax Highlighter + Animax Neckstrap.

For Background Story Segment
Top Prize: $10 Kinokuniya voucher + Gundam Battle Scarred Figurine x1 and Angels and Demons DVD
2nd Prize: $5 KKNM voucher + RE Cap + RE T-shirt
Consolation Prize: Animax Neckstrap + FF7 Keychain.

All submissions will become the property of the club. We will publish them for newsletter 7 but the final version will most likely be abridged and modified for use. All due credit will be given.
